The movie we chose was The Lone ranger. I went with high expectations for the movie and i was not dissapointed. The running time was two and a half hours and i thought i was going to get bored, but the movie had me on the edge of my chair throughout.
The movie itself was a beautiful adaptation of the original tales of the mysterious Lone Ranger (Armie Hammer), his good comapaion Tonto (Johnny Depp) -and his crow. I officialy want a dead crow that i wear on my head and feed peanuts to- and who can forget Silver the Spirit horse. Set in the Great West, this great turn on a cowboy movie will have you laughing and crying!
The movie also had some girl power! Rebecca Reid (Ruth Wilson) is the charming and beautiful damsel in distress. Amongst the action and comedy, there is romance between Rebecca and The Lone Ranger... i cant remember the last time i felt loike shouting "KISS HER ALREADY!".
And of course, we had the witty, glamerous, and toatally kick ass Red ( Helana Bonham Carter) who's personal encounter with the movies bad guy, Cavendish (William Fichtner), leaves her with an awesome prostetic leg (watch the movie and you will know what i mean!)
So in toatal, we have romance, comedy, action, Johnny Depp, Helana Bonham Carter, Spirit horses, dead crows, and eveil carniverous rabbits...whats not to like?
