Slated as a potential movie

Aswell as a movie geek, i am also a bit of a book worm. I prefer slightly depressing books because it helps me care for the charectars and feel for them whenever anything bad happens. Last year i picked up a book that had me hooked the second i opened the first page. The book was called Slated By Tery Teri. I went to school and told everyone about it, by the end of the week, there was a group of girls who had bought and read the book.

Months passed and i read the second book (not as good as the first but still really great) but eventually i got over it.

A few weeks ago i saw an add that caught my eye. The movie deal to Slated. I was really excited that Slated was possibly going to be a movie, but then i really thought about it and noticed a few negative sides...Movies that are based on books are always dissapointing. As much as i would love a movie of Slated, i think it will only be a dissapointment as it will cut parts out, change things around, not follow the story line etc etc.

I explained this to my friend and she said;

"NO WAY! When has a movie based on a book ever been bad!!!"

and so i did what anybody would do i named her a list of books that had been turned into movies.

(I dont think all of these movies are bad but the books are better)

*Hunger Games

*Twilight saga   

*Harry Potter   

*Lord of the rings

*The Hobbit        

I could go on but i dont want to sound like a hater of movies...

So if slated does become a movie, i will watch it, but to anybody reading this, i am begging you to please READ THE BOOKS!!!
